Only one theme for now but I hope to make more soon. Many thanks to anyone who uses. I do ask that you comment if you use, thank you! Download: Zip file & Admin Console Code (right-click and save!)
1. I have uploaded the images to photobucket for you already. If you prefer to use my photobucket links, skip to step 3. However, keep in mind that you may want to download the zip file and save to your own photobucket to ensure that there won't be any bandwidth issues. They may not show up if too many people are using them. If you download the zip file, unzip it in winzip or a similar program. 2. Upload the 132 mood images to your domain, or an image hosting site like Photobucket. Do not change the file names. 3. Go to the LJ admin console. 4. Now, in the text box, paste in the following: moodtheme_create "Title of Theme" "Short Description of Theme" Of course, replace the "Title of Theme" and "Short Description of Theme" text with any title and description you wish, as long as you remember the title. Once you're done, click "execute". If you're successful, the console will give you a number. Copy down this number! 5. Now open the "consolecodes.txt" file. Using the "replace" tool in your notepad program, replace the 427928 number with the number the console gave you previously. If you have uploaded the images to your own photobucket account, also replace the "http://s259.photobucket.com/albums/hh308/houselovescameron/hcmoodtheme1/" url with the url to the folder that stores the images on your domain, or the photobucket album. 6. Now, paste in the edited codes into the admin console, and click execute. You should be directed to a page with your accepted codes. If not, go back and re-do the steps again. 7. Now go to your customize page. If you're using s2 (if you don't know what that means, then you probably are using s2), go to the "Customize Selected Theme" button on the bottom right of the page. There should be a "Mood Theme" section on your new page - underneath it, there is a drop down menu. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes. If you're using s1, simply scroll down your customize page until you find the "Mood Themes" section. Use the drop down to find your new theme. Save changes. And you're done! Your theme should now be up on your LJ. Please feel free to contact me if you're having problems. However, most of the time, people simply didn't follow each step or they're afraid to do it themselves. Don't be scared-- this a is very simple copy/paste deal! I'm still here to help if necessary. Please try to follow each step, though, before contacting me. Note: I've created a few 'extra' images in case you wanted to mix them up. Feel free to do so! However, if you are replacing a gif file for a jpg file, you MUST change that in the console code. For example, if you decide to use the angry.jpg image from the extras, you have to go into the console code and find the 'angry' line of code (you can see the file names toward the end of each line. Just scroll until you see it). Then replace 'gif' with 'jpg'.
