Jennifer plays Missy Vanglider, Ben Affleck's wealthy aristocratic girlfriend. The plot revolves around Ben's character, Drew Latham, who, while very lonely, wants to revisit his old childhood home and relive some old holiday memories. But when he arrives, he finds that the house he was raised in is no longer the home he grew up in. Inhabited now by a dysfunctional family, Drew offers them money to pretend that he's their son and to put on a cheery holiday pretense in order to have the perfect family Christmas. He ends up falling in love with the family's oldest daughter, Alicia. Unfortunately, Missy comes to visit him as a suprise and chaos ensues.
